Hi! My name is Liz and I have lived and worked in the lovely, historic market town of Saffron Walden in North West Essex for more than 25 years; primarily dealing with soft tissue and video analysis. However, most of my time is spent with athletes in their own environment; as a Soft Tissue Therapist with premiership rugby clubs to reviewing biomechanical malfunction with pace bowlers and mind management skills with home grown, hopeful Olympians.
As a Performance Analyst, making good use of kinesiology, biomehcanics and video analysis as well as a Level 5 Sport & Remedial Massage therapist, my preference is prehabilitation but I am sorry to say that the majority of my time is spent with rehabilitation. Being a psychologist, I work holistically with the mind and the body.
As a rugby coach, I specialise in kicking these days and as a cricket coach, pace bowling; putting my Advanced Biomechanics, Speed and Accuracy Training to good use.
I am also a Certified Personal Trainer [Advanced Gym Instructor, Level 3 Fitness Assessor, Level 3 Training in Different Environments and Level 3 Nutrition & Weight Management] but no longer have time to get into the gym, preferring to work on the techniques of Olympic Lifts in my clinic.
I hold a current ITC Level 2 Certificate in First Aid for Sport including both Emergency Action and Incident Management.
